Pacific Black Duck

The Pacific Black Duck:

During winter their numbers are low. This year there were only two pairs. The rest start to return around August and begin having babies. During Summer there can be up to 25 ducks and ducklings. They nest well hidden in the reeds around the edge of the lake and the island.
